Nehemiah Tanzania at Mission Live 2025

From June 13–15, 2025, Nehemiah Tanzania had the honour of participating in Mission Live 2025, hosted at the AVC Germany headquarters in Nidda. This annual gathering is a celebration of mission—of faith lived out, of partnerships strengthened, and of lives transformed through the Gospel.

The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with purpose. It was more than just an event—it was a powerful convergence of believers from across Europe and the world, united by a shared calling: to bring hope and healing to those in need. Every step on the event grounds was marked by worship, learning, testimony, and deep connection.

The Pulse of Mission Live

Mission Live is not simply a conference—it is a living expression of global mission. With worship sessions, keynote messages, personal testimonies, and interactive exhibits, it brings mission stories to life. This year, the grounds buzzed with prayer, praise, and powerful conversation.

Nehemiah Tanzania’s presence was centered around a thoughtfully curated mission tent. It became a focal point for engagement, where visitors connected with our team, heard stories from the field, and learned about our transformative work across Tanzania. Many walked away not only with information but with a burden to pray, give, and support.

Mission Live also provided a rare space where the fruits of mission partnerships are openly celebrated. The unity, the passion, and the authentic joy were all tangible.

Showcasing Impact in Tanzania

At the heart of our mission tent was a simple but powerful goal: to tell the story of how Jesus is transforming lives in Tanzania. We shared firsthand about:

  • Youth Discipleship Programs: Equipping young people with biblical values, leadership training, and purpose-driven education. Through creative workshops, Bible studies, and outreach programs, young Tanzanians are becoming torchbearers of faith in their communities.
  • Outreach to Underserved Communities: From rural villages to urban centers, we support spiritual growth and practical development—clean water, health, and vocational training. Projects like the Kemondo Village initiative or the mobile medical clinics were received with great interest.
  • Faith in Action: Every visitor saw not only the needs but the breakthroughs—stories of restoration, hope, and future. We shared photos, stories, and live testimonies of young lives restored from addiction, women empowered through training, and new churches planted in unreached areas.

We were humbled by the curiosity, support, and prayers of those who visited our booth. Conversations turned into connections. Prayers turned into partnerships. For many, this was their first encounter with the work being done in Tanzania—and it sparked a fire.

A Strong and Faithful Partnership

Our journey to Germany was more than symbolic—it was a reaffirmation of the deep-rooted partnership between Nehemiah Tanzania and AVC Germany. Though separated by geography, we are united in purpose.

Our collaboration with AVC continues to yield fruit in:

  • Expanding discipleship networks across Swahili-speaking regions
  • Planting churches in new territories like Morogoro, Mwanza, and Dodoma
  • Responding to community crises with compassion and wisdom—whether it’s post-flood rebuilding or supporting internally displaced families

Mission Live allowed us to meet our German partners face-to-face, give them direct feedback from the field, and share plans for the future. These conversations laid the groundwork for new commitments and deeper collaboration.

Reflections from the Ground

The spirit of Mission Live 2025 was unmistakable. In a world that often feels divided, the gathering was a reminder that unity in Christ transcends borders, languages, and circumstances.

Our team returned to Tanzania with:

  • Renewed Strength: Encouraged by global support, we are more determined than ever to pursue our calling.
  • New Vision: Inspired by conversations and other ministries, we’re exploring new avenues for outreach and collaboration. We now envision youth hubs in more than 10 new regions.
  • Grateful Hearts: Every handshake, every prayer, every shared story reminded us we are not alone.

One team member shared: “It was the first time I truly saw the global Church. I felt small, but in the best way possible—because I saw how big God’s family is.”

What We Learned at Mission Live

The days at AVC Germany’s headquarters weren’t just inspirational—they were transformational. Here’s what stood out:

1. The Importance of Being Present

Mission work often requires sacrifice and travel, but being physically present at Mission Live created connections we couldn’t have forged online. Our testimonies had more power because they were spoken face-to-face.

2. The Strength of Story

Stories are the lifeblood of mission. More than statistics or charts, it was the individual lives changed that moved hearts. When we shared about Emmanuel, a young man who went from drug addiction to seminary training, people listened.

3. The Urgency of Collaboration

Mission Live reminded us: we cannot do this alone. We saw the synergy that happens when churches, individuals, and ministries pool their efforts. There is strength in shared vision.

4. The Call to Hope

In a world overwhelmed by crisis, Mission Live was a beacon of hope. The message was clear: Jesus is still transforming lives. The Church is still His body. And the mission is still alive.

Moving Forward with Hope

What’s next for Nehemiah Tanzania? We are building on the momentum of Mission Live to:

  • Expand our discipleship programs to more regions, including youth seminars, leadership retreats, and peer mentoring
  • Deepen community partnerships with local churches and global supporters to bring sustainable change
  • Mobilize resources for long-term development projects like the Agape Girls’ Shelter and Farming for Life Initiative
  • Launch our media outreach program to share our stories with broader audiences through film, podcast, and social media

With the support of partners like AVC, and the prayers of many, we are confident in what lies ahead.

Final Word

Mission Live 2025 was a celebration of what happens when the global Church comes together with one heart and one purpose. For Nehemiah Tanzania, it was a defining moment—a reminder that while we serve in different lands, we are part of one great mission.

We return not only with memories but with a renewed commitment to share the love of Christ across Tanzania. United. Empowered. Rooted in hope.
